AN "INTERNATIONAL" BREAKFAST

French toast with bacon and caramelized banana with maple syrup

There is nothing better than starting the day with a hearty breakfast of french toast, accompanied by crispy bacon and caramelized banana with the luscious maple syrup!


Ingredients:


8 slices of bread for toast;
- 4 eggs;
- 300 ml of milk;
- A cup of sugar;
- Vanilla;
- 4 bananas;
- 100 gr of butter;
- 8 slices of bacon;
- Maple syrup.


Preparation

In a bowl beat eggs with the milk, vanilla and half cup of sugar.Soak each slice of bread  then laying them in a baking dish and let it sit for half an hour.Meanwhile slice the bananas and dissolve a portion of the butter in a large skillet . Pour the banana slices and jump over a high flame to sear . Add the remaining sugar, stirring carefully to caramelize evenly.
In a smaller pan toast slices of bacon, by melting fat and making them crispy.
Now we proceed by dissolving the remaining butter in another pan , fry the slices of french toast . toast them evenly on both sides.
Serve by placing on each slice of toast bacon and caramelized banana , finishing with a generous topping of maple syrup!
